Canon EOS 80D
Characterized by versatile imaging specs, the Canon EOS 80D further clarifies itself using a pair of robust focusing systems and an intuitive design. Featuring a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor and DIGIC 6 image processor, this sleek DSLR is capable of capturing high-resolution images at up to 7 fps and Full HD 1080p60 video, both with reduced noise and high sensitivity up to an expanded ISO 25600 for working in difficult lighting conditions. When working with the optical viewfinder, an apt 45-point all cross-type AF system affords fast performance in a range of lighting conditions for tracking moving subjects and working in low light, while the Dual Pixel CMOS AF system benefits live view shooting and movie recording by providing a smooth, natural focusing quality akin to the way a camcorder acquires focus. Touch-to-focus is availed by the large 3.0″ 1.04m-dot touchscreen LCD, which also sports a swiveling vari-angle design for working from high and low angles with ease. Additionally, built-in Wi-Fi with NFC allows you to pair mobile devices with the camera to wirelessly transfer files for sharing your photos and movies online. Sony’s PMW-EX1R XDCAM EX HD Camcorder
Sony’s PMW-EX1R XDCAM EX HD Camcorder is the impressive successor to the popular PMW-EX1. While retaining everything that was right about the previous camera, Sony has listened to its professional users and taken several steps forward, not only improving ergonomics and convenience, but bringing a whole new set of features to the world’s only full HD compact camcorder.

Like its predecessor, the PMW-EX1R’s core is its three 1/2″-type CMOS sensors and 14x Fujinon zoom lens. This heavyweight imaging combo captures full 1920 x 1080 hi-def images to solid state SxS PRO memory cards (sold separately) at multiple bit rates, resolutions and frame rates. Whether you’re shooting weddings, documentaries or feature films, there’s a frame rate and resolution for you–from 60fps and native 23.98p recording at 720p, to 1fps at 1080i. SxS PRO cards of up to 64GB in capacity can be used. For 64GB cards, the camera will require software version 1.15 or greater installed from Sony’s website. The way to install it is by downloading the version to a computer, connecting the camera to the computer by USB cable, and selecting the upgrade option in “Others” tab of the camera’s menu table. If your computer has an SxS slot, you can just transfer the downloaded file onto the SxS card and then pop the card into the camera to transfer the download, which in this case also you would do through the “Others” menu. 64GB cards can record 200 minutes in HQ mode and 280 in SP mode.

But along with its already proven imaging abilities and professional workflow, the PMW-EX1R expands its usability by offering DVCAM SD recording, XDCAM HD compatibility, and HDMI output. That means no more time-consuming downconverting or transcoding to work in different formats or with different recording and playback devices. Other new features add even more convenience and flexibility, including a high-resolution 1.23MP viewfinder, Cache Record, one-click S&Q button, auto iris, and even image inversion for flipping the image while shooting with a 35mm adapter. Make no mistake: the Sony PMW-EX1R is the first HD compact camcorder that truly does have it all.

JVC GV-LS2WE Live Streaming PTZ Camera
The GV-LS2WE Live Streaming PTZ Camera (PAL) is a live-streaming camera with video output, compatible with European broadcast standards. It includes a removable high-speed ultra-quiet pantilter cradle, and can also be remotely controllable via tablet, smartphone, or PC. This camera combines the quality offered by a full-fledged camcorder with the unmanned capabilities of a high-end security camera, and rolls these features into a compact package with Wi-Fi wireless communication and remote controllability.

At the heart of the GV-LS2WE is a 1/2.3″ 12.4 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor, and JVC’s FALCONBRID high-speed image processing engine. This allows Full HD quality to be maintained even when using electronic image stabilization and pan/tilt. The camera offers 10x optical zoom for high-quality close-ups and for streaming images and sound from live events as it allows the camera to remain unobtrusive.

With the GV-LS2WE you can record your footage in HD on available SD media cards or stream in HD. The camera features dual-stream output allowing you to record and stream at the same time, although only one stream can be in HD. The camera features control via a web browser interface, and you can also monitor and control the camera via the JVC Cam app on a smartphone or tablet.

Mevo Live Event Camera by Livestream (Black)
Livestream’s Mevo Live Event Camera combines a camera, a live streaming platform, and a video switcher to form an all-in-one story-telling device. Despite its palm-sized form-factor, the Live Event Camera fits a UHD 4K sensor behind a 150° wide-angle lens. This configuration endows the Live Event Camera with the capability of supporting 9 virtual camera angles at 720p resolution. Each virtual angle is controllable and selectable via the free iOS app (requires iOS 9.3 or later operating on iPhone 5s or newer) or Android app (requires Android 6.0 or higher and a compatible device). Using touch-based gestures; you can control each angle as if it was a real camera with a zoom lens on a tripod. With the Live Event Camera you can stream directly on the Livestream, Facebook Live, Periscope, and Twitter platforms. Alternatively use the UHD 4K resolution of the sensor to record sharp video directly to the internal SD card.
